About Me
My Life's Journey
My first degree was in Telematics Engineering, and from my very first semesters I became passionate about designing electrical circuits and programming them using languages like Assembler and C on microprocessors. As I progressed in my studies, I also explored network design—working with gateways, repeaters, IP addressing, subnets, and more.
This low‑level foundation prepared me for my first role on the IT Support team at a major bank in my home country, where I was responsible, together with my team, for administering the intranet, managing user accounts, and configuring printers and devices. In that role I developed strong soft skills: I learned to listen empathetically to non‑technical users and translate their needs into clear, effective solutions.
Later, I pursued studies in higher education, which led me to work as an Education Technician at my city’s art museum. There I designed programs for audiences ranging from children to university students, fostering soft skills such as observation, communication, creativity, and critical thinking.
After my time in education—and captivated by the web development boom—I decided to dive into that field. I took university courses and, together with my husband, became co‑managers of our family business, where I developed our first WordPress website from scratch.
To formalize my knowledge, I earned a diploma in Web Development, and after moving to Canada, I completed a Software Development diploma at Bow Valley College.
I later worked as an IoT instructor for children aged 7 to 11, and most recently as a contract developer on a startup team. We successfully delivered the MVP using React.js and Tailwind CSS.
Recently, I completed a Digital Marketing program, which gave me a stronger business and user‑experience focus. Today, I build applications that are efficient, SEO‑optimized, and technically sound while keeping the user at the center of the experience.
